Eleanor M. Czajkowski, 92, of Bronson, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 with family by her side. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Assumption Church with Rev. Fr. Dan Hyman officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 4-7:00 PM, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson. Eleanor was born January 17, 1930 in Bronson, MI to Bernard & Helen (Hensler) Smoker. She married Walter F. Czajkowski on October 23, 1955 in Bronson. He preceded her in death on March 3, 2009. Mrs. Czajkowski was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She worked briefly for Bronson Reel, but truly loved staying home to raise her family and help on the family farm. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church and worked for many years as an election clerk in Matteson Township. Eleanor adored her family and was a dedicated caregiver to many of her family members. She especially loved spending time with her grand and great grandchildren. Those who knew Eleanor were drawn to her warm personality and quick wit. Eleanor is survived by her children Ray (Lucinda) Czajkowski, Walter Czajkowski, Jr., Mark (Amy) Czajkowski, Kathleen Swick all of Bronson; her sister Bernadine Losinski of Coldwater; her grandchildren Eric (Bambi) Czajkowski, Erin (Brian) Wohlgamuth, Joshua (McKenzie) Czajkowski, Sean (Kaitlyn) Czajkowski, Kaitlyn Czajkowski, Branden Czajkowski, Morgan Czajkowski, Alexis Czajkowski, Sidney Swick; great grandchildren Lily & Mason Czajkowski, Zoie & Khloe Wohlgamuth, Kashton, Kasen & Navy Czajkowski.
