Diane Sue Wortz, 71, of Coldwater, passed away Friday, April 3, 2020 at Bronson of Battle Creek Hospital. She was born May 18, 1948 in Detroit to Mary Lera Moore and was raised by Maurice and Donna (Coman) Reighter. On May 15, 1971 Diane married Jerry Wortz and he still survives.
No calling hours or services for Diane will be held at this time.
Her passion and joy was her family whom she loved dearly. At an early age Diane had accepted Jesus as her lord and savior, devoting her life to his faithful service. She had also proudly homeschooled both of her own children as well as three of her grandchildren. She was a fun loving, family oriented, and kind hearted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and much more to many.
In addition to her husband Jerry, Diane is survived by her children Jeremy (Laura) Wortz of Cedar Springs, MI; Candice Campbell of Coldwater; nine grandchildren, Laura, Jeremiah, Olivia, Charles, John, Molly, Madelyn, Joseph, Ethan. She is also survived by her sister Gail Lemon and her cousin Mary Smith which both she shared a special relationship with.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
