Obituary for David Bonfiglio
David R. Bonfiglio, 80, of Quincy, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence in Battle Creek.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Coldwater with Rev. Fr. Dan Hyman officiating. A private interment of ashes will take place at Mason Cemetery. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, beginning at 9:30 AM at St. Charles Church. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Dave was born June 16, 1942 in Coldwater, MI to Robert G. & Rosemarie (Parker) Bonfiglio. He married Jane E. Burlew on June 29, 1963 in Coldwater. She preceded him in death on May 11, 2016.
Dave spent most of his career driving truck. He worked for Commercial Carriers, Wright Trucking and Allied Trucking, retiring after 30 years. He also owned and operated the Quincy Hardware store for a few years. Dave attended both St. Charles and St. Mary’s Churches and belonged to the Coldwater Elks. He was an avid woodworker who loved spending time in his shop. Dave enjoyed spending time on the lake with his wife, driving his SSR and family time, especially with is great, great niece.
David is survived by his sister Anne Gale and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
