Obituary for Dale J. Hoard
Dale James Hoard, 91 of Bronson passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at his home.
In following his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned. The family was cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Dale was born September 24, 1929 to James and Mildred (Hoyt) Hoard in Sturgis. He married Phyllis Woodworth and she preceded him in death on March 8, 2007. Dale spent many years working in manufacturing and also delivered the Gateway Shopper for over 40 years. He was a very talented in training both dogs and horses. Dale enjoyed gardening, and was known for his tomatoes.
Mr. Hoard is survived by his children Veronica (Robert) Moore, Beverly Hoard, Ranah Harmon, Merel (Betty) Hoard, and AJ (Fran) Hoard; his grandchildren James Hoard, Justin Hoard, Evan Green, Alexis Hoard, Devin Hoard, and Tina Stankey; his daughter at heart Jenifer (Dustin Green) McLain; and his companion Mindy Hinkley. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Phyllis; and his son Scott Hoard.
