CORA JEAN (LEATHERMAN) HAYLETT
Cora Jean Haylett, 92, of Bronson passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Thurston Woods Village in Sturgis.
Born August 5, 1928 in Coldwater to Clarence and Myrtle (Croswell) Leatherman, she graduated from Bronson High School in 1946. She also graduated from Kalamazoo Beauty School.
She is survived by her husband, Jake whom she married on October 30, 1949, three sons; Ned (Mary) Haylett of Sturgis, Tom (Sharon) Haylett of Coldwater, Jeff (Debra) Haylett of Fort Myers Beach, FL and a daughter, Carol (Ali) Tafavoti of Midwest City, OK. She is also survived by six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Jacob.
Cremation is being coordinated by Dutcher Funeral Home. Per her request, no funeral services will be held. The family appreciates all the attention, kindness and empathy shown by her caregivers during her residence at Thurston Woods Village.
