Chad A. Horn, 49, of Coldwater, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at his home.
The Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with military honors provided by the Coldwater American Legion, #52, Drill Team. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 3-8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date.
Chad was born May 8, 1968 in Coldwater to Leonard & Elinor (Gooch) Horn. He married Shellie Cazier on December 20, 1990 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Together, they enlisted in the U.S .Air Force and served after Desert Storm.
Chad was a Quality Engineer working for Sisuner, Douglas Manufacturing, General Products (Triple A Sales and Engineering) in Angola and most recently for Paragon in Quincy. He enjoyed watching sports and was a fan of the Detroit Lions and Tigers. Chad was the biggest fan and supporter of his children’s teams. He was very involved with their many activities and watching them play sports was his favorite pastime. He enjoyed playing Euchre and greatly treasured the time he spent with his family.
Chad is survived by his wife Shellie, his children Zach Horn, Darlene Horn both of Coldwater, his parents Lennie & Norie Horn of Quincy, his brother Derek (Loretta) Horn of Brighton, his nephew and niece Riley and Maddelyn Horn and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
