Obituary for Catherine R. Wolf

Catherine Rosleen “Kitty” Wolf, 90, of Bronson passed away Tuesday, April 06, 2021 at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson with Rev. Fr. Basker Lopez officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson. Masks are requested at the funeral home and church.
Catherine was born July 7, 1930 to Lawrence and Christine (Elwer) Lammers in Delphos, OH. She was a 1948 graduate of Delphos High School. On October 22, 1949 she married the love of her life, Glen Wolf in Delphos. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2012. Prior to getting married, Kitty worked at both the Delphos Library and the Ohio Power Company. Catherine helped working the family farm while also prioritizing raising her family. They moved to Bronson in 1964.
Kitty was a woman of strong faith, being a member of St. Mary’s, where she also served on the Altar Rosary Society. Catherine was also a member of Daughter of the American Revolution. Kitty enjoyed going dancing, mainly with the Merry Mixer Dance Club. She was an avid fisherwoman who also liked playing cards, and reading. Kitty was the matriarch of the family, scheduling and planning all the holiday and events. Her true joy in life was being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Wolf is survived by her daughters Margery (Mike) Cossairt of Bronson, Carol (Bob) Somerlott of Coldwater, and Marilyn (Bill) McKinley of Hastings; her son Jeffery (Shannon) Wolf of Pleasant Ridge, MI; her son-in-law Mike Badder of Union City; her sister Vera (Herman) Hemker of Coldwater; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 62 years Glen Wolf; her son James Wolf; her daughters Barbara Badder, Kathleen (Allan Cossairt) Brown; her grandson Keith Brown; her sisters Lou Ann Altman, Alice Pohlman, and Marceil Warnecke; and her brother Albert Lammers.
