Obituary for Carol Brown

Carol Brown, 77, of Coldwater passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in Coldwater at home surrounded by her loving family. A funeral service for Carol will be held Monday, May 17, 2021 at 1:00PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Minister David Sherfield officiating. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Tekonsha following the service. The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, May 17, 2021 from 11:00AM until time of service at the funeral home.
She was born September 22, 1943 to Charles and Nannie (Dixon) Brown in Hazard, KY. Carol was a M.C. Napier High School graduate and had worked for Profile Extrusions in Coldwater until her retirement. She was a strong willed woman that was deeply devoted to her family and above all she loved spending time with them. Carol enjoyed playing spades and watching sports and spending time with her family. Her family will remember her always for her beauty and her kind and loving heart.
Carol is survived by her daughter Vicki (Randy) Burke of Coldwater; five sisters Lillian Miller of Louisville, KY, Mallie (Tom) Shore of Spring Hill, FL, Linda Young of Tekonsha, Marilyn (Johnny Feltner) Wooton, Cindy (Greg) Terry both of Hazard, KY; one brother Larry (Marcia) Brown of Albion; six grandchildren Ashley (Stan Longstreet) Angel, Nick Burke, Alexa Lewis, Dakota Burke, Jared Coney, Jaden Coney; six great grandchildren and her many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Lisa Hall; three sisters Mable Weatherly, Bobbie Anderson, Rita Cornett and five brothers Kenneth, Edsel, Hershel, John and Billy Brown.
Memorial donations are suggested to the family or the Branch County Humane Society.
