Obituary for Carletta R. Sturgeon
Carletta R. Sturgeon, 53, of Coldwater, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at her home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Carla was born January 31, 1967 in Angola, IN to Dale & Daisy (DeLong) Snyder. She married Richard D. Sturgeon on September 18, 1994 in Angola, IN.
Mrs. Sturgeon worked for many years at Rick’s Party Store in Coldwater. She enjoyed gardening and was very gifted in the art of writing, coloring and poetry. She had a huge heart for animals, especially her own pets and a great love for people.
Carla is survived by her husband Rick, her son Kevin Snyder of Tekonsha, her siblings Bob (Marlene) Snyder of Angola, IN, Peggy Snyder of LaGrange, IN, Sherry Deetz of LaGrange, IN, Dale Snyder of Angola, IN, Penny Sue Currall of Angola, IN Larry (Becky) Snyder of Flint, several nieces and nephews and her beloved grand dog “Chewy”. She was preceded in death by both parents and her brother James & Don Snyder.
