Obituary for Bruce Marteen
Bruce Marteen, 54, of Coldwater, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022 at his home, after fighting a long battle with illness.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Bruce was born June 19, 1968 in Orange, California and graduated from Coldwater High School in 1986.
Bruce worked for many years at the Oldsmobile Scramble until its closing and then for Event Smiths. He later worked for several years at Eckrich.
Bruce was an avid MSU fan and an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf. To know Bruce was to love him. He had the best attitude through many hard times and always a smile on his face. Bruce loved people and was especially proud of his two children. They were his greatest joy.
Bruce is survived by his children Luke and McKenna Marteen; his mother Julie Marteen of Coldwater; his brothers Dunn Marteen, Jr. of Marrietta, GA, Lance (Cheri) Marteen of Angola, IN, his twin Brian (Lorri) Marteen of Coldwater; nephew and nieces Cameron, MaeAnna and Miranda and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Dunn Marteen, Sr. and his cousin Penny Adkins.
