Obituary for Billy Nelson Balowski

Billy N. Balowski, 22, of Coldwater, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 as a result of an auto accident in Girard Township, along with his sister Angela Balowski and his aunt Theresa Mills.
A service celebrating the lives of Angie, Billy and Theresa will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 at 1:00PM at Lockwood Community Church in Coldwater with Pastor Terry Siler from the First Congregational Church officiating, along with Chad Butters. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, beginning at 11:00AM at Lockwood Community Church. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Billy was born April 21, 2000 in Sylmar, California. He became part of the Balowski family when he was three years old, the son of Ron and Deb Balowski. He graduated from Bronson High School in 2018 and studied criminal justice at Grand Valley State University. He had also studied HVAC at Kellogg Community College.
Billy was currently working at the Battle Creek Farm Bureau Co-op as an agriculture custom applicator. He previously had interned at the Branch County Courthouse under the Bailiff and was a paid intern for the Department of Defense, Homeland Security in Bethesda, MD.
Billy enjoyed many sports. During high school he played golf and tennis, wrestled and ran track. He enjoyed video games, bowling and was an outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. Billy was an avid MSU fan and a skilled poker player. He was very well liked and known by many for his infectious personality. To know Billy was to love him.
Billy is survived by his parents Ron and Deb Balowski of Coldwater, his siblings Jessica (Jeremy) Michael of Ft. Wayne, IN, Aaron (Emily Disbrow) Balowski of DeWitt; his brother-in-law Jared Hoath of Union City; his grandmother Arleen Balowski of Union City; aunts and uncles Pat (Chris) Mills of Traverse City, David (Tracy) Balowski of Bronson, Kim (Dave) Quint of Battle Creek, Jenney Mills of Bel Air, MD; his nieces Breslyn Hoath of Union City, Ashlee Hoath of Battle Creek, Jozalynn Hoath of Battle Creek, Kedzie Balowski of DeWitt. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Arthur and Ruth Mills and Joseph Balowski; his uncles Tom Mills, Sam Mills, Mike Mills and Bruce Mills. Making the journey to heaven together with Billy was his sister Angie and his aunt Theresa.
