Obituary for Beverly Diane Hickey

Beverly Diane Hickey, 74, of Coldwater passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Masonville Place in Coldwater. A memorial service for Beverly will be held Friday, September 9th, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Coldwater. A funeral luncheon will be held concluding the service and a private burial of ashes will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Battle Creek, MI. The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral home in Coldwater.
Beverly was born September 5, 1947, to Walter and Elizabeth (Francisco) Killian in Coldwater, MI. On December 20, 1969, she married Philip Hickey and he preceded her in death on August 24, 2007. Beverly was a graduate from Kellogg Community College and spent much of her career in recordkeeping in the banking industry.
Beverly enjoyed many travel opportunities that included the Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Kiribati, Mexico, and walking on a glacier in Alaska. Beverly was a lover of euchre and bingo. Beverly liked to collect keepsakes and photos of family and friends. Beverly enjoyed friendships in retirement with those from Burns Park and Masonville Place. Most of all, she was proud to be a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family was her greatest passion and she filled her heart with the love that she held for them.
Beverly leaves behind her son Russ (Tasha) Hickey of Olympia, WA; her siblings Sandra Haylett of Coldwater, Ronald (Kathy) Killian of Battle Creek, Conrad (Sue) Killian of Brea, CA; her two grandchildren Marena Wenzlick and Sara Hickey; her two great grandchildren Kairi Wenzlick and Weston Wenzlick; and her loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Philip.
Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude or the hospice organization named Elara Caring.
