Obituary for Bart M. Burnside
Bart M. Burnside, 56, of Bronson, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 at his daughter’s home in Hudson.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Pastor Jim Erwin from Bethel-Gilead Community Church officiating. Interment will follow at Trayer Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 4-7:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
Bart was born June 1, 1966 in Coldwater, MI to Gordon & Suette (Rinehart) Burnside. He married Kim Rost, she preceded him in death in July of 2020.
Mr. Burnside worked for HC Stark in Coldwater for 20+ years. Following his retirement he spent many years as a caregiver to his mom. Bart enjoyed fishing, NASCAR racing, going to the casino and playing poker. He was an avid University of Michigan and Detroit Lions fan and would appreciate those in attendance wearing U of M or Detroit Lions apparel.
Bart is survived by his daughter Kaysie (Nicholas Falor) Burnside of Hudson. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Brent Burnside, his sister Carmel Roberts and his grandparents Reuben & Mildred Burnside, Carl & Ina Rinehart.
