Obituary for Barbara Diane Lewandowski

Barbara Diane Lewandowski, 78, of Coldwater, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Lockwood Cemetery at a later date. The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Barbara was born October 28, 1939 to Gilbert and Eulaine (Oehring) Rexin in Detroit. She was a graduate of Detroit Pershing High School in 1957. Barbara married Tony Lewandowski on November 21, 1959 in Detroit.
Barbara worked as a teacher’s aide in helping children to read in the Gibraltar School District for several years. She enjoyed golfing at Iyopawa Island Golf Course in Coldwater, crocheting, arts and crafts, painting, crossword puzzles, reading and Rose Lake. She will be remembered as an excellent cook and for her love of animals.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years Anthony; her children, David Lewandowski of Warren, Daniel (Kim) Lewandowski of Portsmouth, Virginia, Theresa (Mark) Fromm of Mason and Eric Lewandowski of Okemos, her 5 grandchildren and by her 9 brothers and sisters. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society of Branch County.
