Barbara J. Dirschell, 91, of Coldwater, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Maple Lawn.
A public visitation will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. A private service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM. The service may be viewed via webcast at the scheduled date and time on the funeral home website. Interment will follow at Batavia Cemetery.
Barbara was born February 8, 1930 in Bronson, MI to William & Verba (Rumsey) Jasper. She married Erwin R. Dirschell on December 1, 1946. He preceded her in death on December 19, 1996.
Barb was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She loved being a mom to her 5 children. Barb was an avid reader and especially enjoyed Civil War history. She also enjoyed sewing and playing scrabble.
Barb is survived by her children Dennis (Jill) Dirschell of Coldwater, Darlene (Leon) Harmon of Eustis, FL, Michael Dirschell of Coldwater, Richard (Robin) Dirschell of Coldwater, Danny (Jean) Dirschell of Coldwater, her brother Aarol “PeeWee” Jasper of Bronson, her grandchildren Brandon (Courtney) Dirschell, Angela (Brandon) Neusbaum, Adrian (Jessica) Dirschell, Erin (Sheila) Dirschell, Ryan Dirschell, Johnathan Dirschell, Nathan (Kellie) Dirschell, Adam Dirschell, Sarah Enos, Jason (Sarah Hedlund) Enos, Josh Enos, many great and great, great grandchildren and her lifelong friend Marvinn Morrell of Bronson. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
