Obituary for Barbara Ann Bennett
Barbara Ann (Hagar Birch) Bennett, 74, went to see the lord to get a place for her and her love on 2/2/2022; her mom's birthday. A visitation for Barbara will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 4:00-7:00PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Barb was born July 16th, 1947. She met the love of her life Dave in 1965 at their job at the main theater.
They went on a date and she knew immediately she wanted to marry him.
They married in 1966 the year they graduated at 19. They were married for 55 and a half years. She gave birth to two wonderful children Jeff and Amy. She raised them as well as anyone could and they are unbelievable. She had several jobs; her longest was at Western Michigan which she got when they moved to Kalamazoo. She left there and started her own business.
Last year she and Dave moved back to their roots in Coldwater, Michigan.
She had lots of friends and relatives that loved her. She was always the life of the party.
Her parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by her love and husband David Roger Bennett; her son Jeffery Patrick (Jennifer) Bennett; her daughter Amy Marie (Mark Vickers) Bennett-Root;
Three granddaughters, one grandson, and one great grandson.
Donations can go to your favorite charity in her name or to Dave (joke). Dave will miss the LOVE of his life and best friend. She will always be part of his heart and mind.
