Obituary for Anna P. Nichols

Anna P. Nichols, 95 of Coldwater passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Promedica Regional Hospital.

A private graveside service will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery with Fr. Dan Hyman of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church officiating.

Anna was born November 24, 1925 to Joseph and Antonette (Zitke) Pechulis in Detroit. She was a high school graduate. Anna married Harold Nichols on April 15, 1967. He preceded her in death on February 16, 1992. She worked for Art Lyon as a legal secretary for 20 years, retiring in 1975. Mostly, she loved being a farm girl.

Anna was a woman of strong faith and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She was involved with St. Charles bingo and also the New Beginnings program at the church. Anna enjoyed planting, doing flower gardening, and being on the farm. She was an extremely generous woman, helping out many in the community with temporary housing and work on the farm.

Mrs. Nichols is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 24 years, Harold Nichols; her sisters Bernice Gentry and Mary Lukas.
