Obituary for Anna Marie Callahan
Anna M. Callahan, 65, of Coldwater, passed away at home while under hospice care on Thursday, March 17th, 2022.
A visitation for Anna will be held at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater, Monday March 21st, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. Cremation will follow the visitation and a private burial will take place at a later date.
Anna was born April 26th, 1956 to William J O’Connor and Marie T. (Zimba) O’Connor in Dearborn, MI. She married David Callahan in Webberville, MI on July 30th, 1983. Anna graduated college as a Registered Nurse. She worked as an RN for 40+ years most recently at Oak Lawn Hospital in Marshall. She was an Avon representative for 25 years. She was a dedicated parishioner at St. Charles church in Coldwater, usually sitting in the front row. Anna enjoyed sewing and baking for her children and grandchildren. She also loved to spend time gardening.
Anna is survived by her husband of 38 years, David Callahan; her children Theresa Truex, Allyson (Jesse) Carrion, and Lonny Shepherd; her brothers William (Dee) O’Connor, David (Barb) O’Connor, Tim (Denise) O’Connor; her nine grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents.
