Obituary for Adam L. Cook

On March 28, 2021, Adam Lawrence Cook left life’s highway and has transitioned to God’s care.
Adam’s most love was for his children Hailey, Hunter, Emma and Jacob, they were his pride and joy. He was a very fun dad, roller coasters, hunting, trapping, strange craft projects, I doubt any of them ever had a spanking.
He was born in Coldwater on February 28, 1970, on a Saturday morning, and was never quite happy with it. He was well loved by his mother Bonny Cook Friend, step father Jeffrey Friend, his brother Wes Cook, his sisters, Kelli Cook and Holly Cook. Whom we have shared many of Adam’s antics.
His girlfriend, Katina Burlew, who held his hand in death and kissed his lips goodbye. Adam had a penchant for spelling, and liked to give us “words”, loved trivia mostly music trivia, he knew most of the artist. And was proud he had a Criminal Justice Degree. His sister Holly had just bought him a dictionary, cause he just liked words. Adam had a large spiritual side and listened to Joel Osteen most Sunday mornings, and believed Jesus is the son of God.
Adam was a real character, and will be so missed.
Adam loved his grandmother Elsie Ames, and will be buried with her.
His last gift to me the morning of his death I heard the words loud and clear, “I am alright mom, you can let me go”. We will have a pop up service sometime for Adam. Soon.
Till we meet again, it’s not over yet.
