Edward  Szafranski
Edward Szafranski, 88, of Coldwater, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater.
Visitation will take place on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 3:00 until 6:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Edward was born June 30, 1929 in Coldwater, MI to Joseph & Jennie (Baranowski) Szafranski. He married Joyce E. Corless on January 7, 1950 in Coldwater.
Mr. Szafranski farmed his family farm for many years. He spent 18 years at the Kroger Egg Plant and had also worked a few years at G & W Display.
Ed was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church and a 56 year member of UCT. He was a skilled woodworker and an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Ed absolutely adored his grandchildren and especially loved to watch them play sports. They were a very special part of his life.
Ed is survived by his wife Joyce, his sons Stas Szafranski of Denver, CO, Tim (Lisa) Szafranski of Coldwater, his grandchildren Anna Szafranski and Seth (Lauren Suelzer) Szafranski. He was preceded in death by his stillborn son Thomas and his brothers Robert, Joseph & Ted Szafranski.
