Tyler Tazmeine Wirtz, 17 of Bronson passed away tragically due to an automobile accident in Lawton on Tuesday, December 19, 2017.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Missionary Church in Bronson with Pastor Archie Lhamon of Unity Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Adam’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson from 1:00-4:00 and 5:00 – 8:00 pm.

Tyler was born November 17, 2000 to Matthew and Sarah (Tyler) Wirtz in Sturgis. He was a senior at Bronson High School and was about to be dual-enrolled at Jackson College in their Automotive Program. He was a hardworking young man who was employed at Auto-Wares Warehouse in Coldwater.

Tyler was a very active young man. He was on the Varsity Bowling Team at BHS. Tyler was very fond of working on cars and was a proclaimed “Ford Guy”. He liked video gaming, hunting, fishing, and being at the lake. Reading was another activity that peaked his interest. His true passion in life was being around his family. Tyler was a loving, compassionate, and caring young man. He will be remembered for his intelligence, willingness to help anyone, and his sense of humor. Tyler will be missed by many.

Tyler is survived by his parents Matthew Wirtz of Bronson and Sarah Howard of Bronson; his step-siblings twins Tyler & Taylor, and Alyssa Howard all of Union City; his grandparents Lloyd (Mary) Tyler of Burr Oak and Margaret Bellaire of Sturgis; his aunts and uncles Damien & Cherie Adkins, Matt & Kathy Tyler, Robin & Jess Michelsen, Rita & Olin Wilcox, Rosina Healy, Rodney Healy; his god parents Scott & Patty Smith; several great aunts, great uncles & cousins. He was preceded in death by his step-father Derek Howard.
