Margaret J.  Cassavoy
Margaret J. Cassavoy, 87 of Bronson passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at Country Living of Hillsdale.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Pastor Terry Siler of the First Congregational Church of Bronson officiating. Interment will follow at Matteson Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am.

Margaret was born January 23, 1930 to Dillon and Marguerite (Fisher) Henderson in Mayfield, KY. She graduated high school and continued her education, earning her RN degree. Margaret worked as a nurse, until her children were born, becoming a full time stay at home mom. She married Charles Cassavoy on April 15, 1950. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1993.

Margaret had many interests including golfing, sewing, doing crossword puzzles, and watching television. She was very good with a camera in her hands, winning awards for her photography. Margaret used many of her photos to create birthday cards for family & friends. She had a love of animals, especially dogs. Her true joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She we be missed by many.

Mrs. Cassavoy is survived by her children Charles “Cass” (Denise) Cassavoy of Edmore, MI, Cheryl (Doug) Swift of Bronson, and Michelle (Bruce) Duke of Parshallville, MI; her grandchildren Chuck Cassavoy, Chris Cassavoy, Hannah Englehart, and Seth Rozanski; her great grandchildren Heather Rozanski and Holden Cassavoy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 43 years Charles; her brothers Dempsey and Wayne Henderson; her sister Betty Sullivan.
