Obituary for Joseph M. Pombier

Joseph M. Pombier, 76, of Quincy, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Community Health Center of Branch County.
A graveside service will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Girard with Pastor Jeff Bream from Northview Christian Church officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 5-7:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Joseph was born May 23, 1941 in Albion, MI to Louis & Wetah (VanDyke) Pombier. He married Patsy Eyre on August 26, 1961 in Coldwater, she preceded him in death July 10, 2005.
Mr. Pombier worked for Corning Glass in Albion for 20 years. In 1974 he became employed at Bostick in Marshall, working until his retirement in 2004. Joe was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and gardening.
Joe is survived by his sons Patrick (Tammy) Pombier of Quincy, Bryan (Samantha) Pombier of Budapest, Hungary, his brother Jim Pombier of Jacksonville, FL, brother-in-law Dave (Colleen) Eyre of Coldwater, his grandchildren Damien Heller, Jessica Hiesrodt, Paige, Tyler, Preston, Makenna & Vance Pombier, great grandson Brendan Miller, nieces and nephew Tiffany Elliott, Katie Eyre & Dason Eyre and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his infant daughters Shannon & Jenaiah Pombier, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
