Patricia Ellen Tighe-Chapman, 85 of Sutton’s Bay, formerly of Bronson passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Munson Hospital in Traverse City.

A funeral service will take place at 10:30 am, Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Reverend Andrew Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 9:30.

Patricia was born June 13, 1932 to Charles and Loraine (Visel) Littlefield in Denver, CO. Shortly after her birth, the family moved to Bronson, where she graduated high school and met her future husband. Patricia married the love of her life, Jack B. Tighe on May 14, 1951. He preceded her in death on August 18, 1995. Together they spent 40 years working together, as she was the Accountant (CFO) for Jack B. Tighe, Inc. a Manufacturers Rep. Firm concentrating in Sporting Goods. Prior to working with Jack, she spent time working at LA Darling in the office.

Patricia was a very active woman in her communities. She spent 10 years as a Girl Scout Leader and 2 years as a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts. Patricia was a board member of the Bronson Foundation, and the AARP Tax Aide Program. She volunteered for 22 years as an IRS Income Tax Assistance Program. Patricia also volunteered at the Community Health Center, Munson Hospital, and Leelanau Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed golf and was a member of the Coldwater County Club and also the Lake Wales Country Club. Her true joy in life was spending time with her family, especially all her grandchildren. She will be missed by many.

Patricia is survived by her children Michael (Shelly) Tighe of Coldwater, Sherry (Andrew) Losinski of Bronson, and Patricia “Kelly” (Ken) Metzger of Auburn, IN; her siblings Charles “Buzz” (Ann) Littlefield of Suttons Bay, Ann Littlefield of Ann Arbor, Michael (Debi) Littlefield of Tecumseh, and Thomas (LeAnn) Littlefield of Beverly Hills, MI; her grandchildren Nathan Losinski, Liz (Tom) Mayer, Renee (Brent) Tappenden, Jayme Morrill, Jack Tighe, Michael Tighe, Jennifer (Andrew) Walker, Tyler Arver, and Kelsey (Eric Thelen) Arver; her great grandchildren James and Jackson Walker, Sierra, Wyatt, and Peyton Weinberg, Cora Mayer, Madison Tappenden, Kelvyn and Jayvion Morrill; many nieces & nephews; and her Suttons Bay family Susan & Marty Jelinek. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband’s Jack Tighe and James Chapman; her daughter Debra Tighe; and her son Jack “Tim” Tighe.
