Kenneth was born February, 19, 1944 to Clyde and Alice (Eddy) Herlan in Beaverton, Michigan. After graduating from Quincy High School he began a long career as a salesman with Leutheuser Car Dealership in Hillsdale, Michigan. Kenneth enjoyed collecting coins.
He is survived by his son; Greg S. Herlan of Coldwater, his siblings; Karen (Art) Smith of Homer and Betty Trost of Gladwin. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers David, Gene and Randall Herlan.
