Obituary for Frederick J. "Fred" Lilue

Frederick “Fred” J. Lilue, 80, of Coldwater passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at his home.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date. The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Frederick was born October 17, 1937 in Caracas, Venezuela to Henry E. and Zoe (Keeslar) Lilue. He married Barbara Williams on May 1, 1965 in Coldwater, Michigan. He had worked for Branch County and the City of Coldwater as a Civil Engineer for many years, retiring in 2010. Fred was very instrumental in forming the Branch Area Rural Bus System, now known as BATA.
Fred was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the US Army. He enjoyed reading, working around the house and spending time with his grandchildren. He especially loved his wife Barbie.
In addition to his wife Barbara, Fred is survived by his son David Lilue of Coldwater, his daughters Tracy Lilue of Kimberly, Idaho, Terri Lilue and Tammi Lilue both of Coldwater, his step mother Irma Lilue of Caracas, Venezuela, his half-sisters Adrianna Lilue of Miami, Florida and Cynthia Lilue of Caracas, Venezuela, his grandchildren David Lilue II, Stacy Woodman, Dustin Lilue, Daniel Lilue, Michael Arias-Valencia, Amber Arias-Valencia and Chrystal Benito and his two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his half-brothers Terry and Duane Henion.
