Obituary for Lloyd R. Draper, Jr.

Lloyd R. Draper, Jr., 80, of Coldwater passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
In following Lloyd’s wishes, cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
Lloyd was born November 2, 1936 in Coldwater to Lloyd R. and Iva (Boston) Draper, Sr. He graduated from Coldwater High School and remained a resident of Coldwater his entire life. Lloyd was employed as a cook at the Coldwater Regional Center, retiring after many years of service.
Lloyd enjoyed being outdoors either hunting or camping an working on cars. He will be missed by all for his cunning whit, devilish charm, and unwavering love. Michigan has lost the best looking Draper in the 40/11 counties.
Mr. Draper is survived by his son Gary Draper, Sr. of IN; his daughters Bev (Joe) Draper of Munising, MI and Lou (Chris) Nivison of Sherwood; his ex-wife Sherry Redmond of Elkhart, IN; and many step-children; his sisters Sarah Noblitt of Coldwater and Mary Turner of Oklahoma City, OH; a loving grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and great uncle to many.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 loving wives Joyce, Betty, and Dorothy; his son John Draper; his sisters Luella Ledyard and Myrtle Waite; and his brother Homer Draper.
