Brenda K.  Rakoske
Brenda Kay Siler-Rakoske, 65 of Coldwater passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the Community Health Center.

A funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 16, 2017 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Terry Siler of First Congregational Church of Bronson officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 11:00 AM.

Brenda was born November 2, 1951 to Richard and Eleanor (Ewers) Siler in Coldwater. After graduation from Coldwater High School, she married Raymond Rakoske, Jr. on August 1, 1970 in Coldwater. Brenda worked at Bill’s Market for many years.

Brenda loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and being around friends. Brenda could hold a conversation with anyone. She will be remembered as being very outgoing and social women with a giving nature.

Mrs. Rakoske is survived by her mother Eleanor Siler of Coldwater; her children Tony (Jennifer) Rakoske, Jonathan Rakoske, and Heather (Calvin Hamilton) Rakoske all of Coldwater; her brothers Larry (Sharon) Siler of Frisco, CO, and Rodney Siler of Quincy; her sister Cherry (Jim) Sinvell of Bellevue, FL; her grandchildren Morgan Rakoske, Ethan, Emma, and Evan Hamilton, and Alek Rakoske; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Richard; her husband Raymond; her infant son; and her good friend June Bryan.
