Hazel M. Coley
Hazel M. Coley, 83 of Coldwater, MI and formerly Tuscaloosa, AL passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Community Health Center of Branch County.

In following Hazel’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place at Memory Hill Gardens in Tuscaloosa. The family was cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.

Hazel was born January 28, 1934 to John and Martha (Hisaw) McGee in Tuscaloosa. In September 1955 she married George Coley in Mississippi. He preceded her in death in May of 2006. Hazel was a good cook and had a green thumb with both flower & vegetable gardening. She enjoyed cooking for the family reunion. Hazel looked forward to having her hair styled each week. She will be remembered as a strong woman that occasionally would let her Irish blood show.

Mrs. Coley is survived by her sister Veler “Vel” Hamlin of Coldwater, MI; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband George; her sisters Etta Strickland, Ethel Jarrell, and Jewell Buys; her brothers Albert, Billy, and Howard Dee McGee.
