Dearest Family, I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Mother. She gave the neighborhood her love, kindness and generosity to everyone. I can still remember as a child going over to your house and smelling that newly baked bread and I always got a taste before I went home. She never turned me down :). I will be forever grateful for the friendship and laughter she gave my Father for all those years after Mom died. Watching the Wheel of Fortune together gave Dad many hours of fun and friendship and was often the highlight of his day. As my Sister Debbie said...Phyllis was the hub of the neighborhood and she will always be remembered and cherished for her sense of humor and kindness. She will be very missed in this lifetime.
