Robert L. Ferguson, 65, of Coldwater, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, July 7, 2017 at 12 Noon at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Coldwater with Rev. Fr. Mark Vyverman officiating. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 AM at the church. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Robert was born August 24, 1951 in Coldwater, MI to Harold & Dorothy (Meyer) Ferguson. He graduated from Portage Central High School in 1969 and went on to earn his Associates Degree from ITT. Bob married Drusilla Campbell on May 26, 1972 in Kalamazoo.
Mr. Ferguson was a Freight Operations Manager working for Consolidated Freight, Eckrich and Conway throughout his career.
Bob was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, also belonging to the Knights of Columbus. He was a sports fanatic for all sports, especially high school teams. Bob was also an avid University of Michigan and Detroit Tigers fan.
Bob is survived by his wife Drusilla, his children Sean (Andrea) Ferguson of Grand Rapids, Micheala (Gerardo) Torres Camargo of Quincy, his mother Dorothy Ferguson of Portage, sister Rhonda (Rick) Garthe of Kalamazoo and granddaughter Luna Torres Camargo. He was preceded in death by his father and brother James Ferguson.
