Obituary for Thelma Irene Pepper

Thelma Irene  Pepper
Thelma Pepper, 94, of Sherwood, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Bronson Battle Creek.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Tim Rowland officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Cemetery in Sherwood Township. Visitation will take place from 10:30 until 12:00 noon prior to the funeral service at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Thelma was born May 2, 1923 to William Earl and Bernice B. (Stevens) Halsey in Stroh, Indiana. She was married to Russell E. Pepper on May 2, 1941 and he preceded her in death on February 5, 2002.
Thelma was a member of the Burnside Center and First Baptist Church in Bronson. She enjoyed dancing, country music and traveling but she especially loved being with her family.
She is survived by her children; Mary Ann (Roy) Cole of Sherwood, Connie (Lester) Reiley of Airlie Beach, Australia, Dennis (Mary) Pepper of Marshall and Allen (Suzie Glendenning) Pepper of Adams, Nebraska, her 12 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren; her siblings; twin sister, Zelma I. Bickle of Mendon, Bettie J. Halsey of Battle Creek, Donald (Mary) Halsey of Exeter, California, Bonnie M. Bandak of Placerville, California and Shirley A. Capman of Colon. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Russell, her son James and her siblings Hershel, Robert, Virginia Halsey and Paul.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Burnside Center in Coldwater or First Baptist Church in Bronson.
