Jerry Lee Richmond, 79 of Kinderhook passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Masonville Place while surrounded by family.

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Terry Siler officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 30 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home.

Jerry was born June 5, 1937 to Lavon and Connie (Harter) Richmond in Auburn, IN. He was a life-long farmer. Jerry married Fay Nutt on August 12, 1967 in Howe, IN.

Jerry was a hardworking family man. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Jerry was very community oriented, serving as the Kinderhook Township Clerk for 16 years and also on the Lakeland Fire Department Board. He was involved in FFA, where he was an alumnus. After retirement he liked to spend time at the hardware store with friends shooting darts. Jerry will be remembered as a caring and giving man.

Mr. Richmond is survived by his wife of 49 years, Fay Richmond of Coldwater; his children Kelly (Marty) Gruner of Union City, Kerry (Chad) Paul of Reading, and Adam (Jenny) Richmond of Coldwater; his sister Evelyn (Jim) Kolb of FL; his grandchildren Megan (Paul Cappella) Alexander, Keely (Aaron) Beemer, Morgan (Justin Lippert) Gruner, Jessie (Tyler) Flake, Ethan (Kellie Pierucki) Paul, Kalyn, Jadyn, and Kiyah Richmond; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
