Condolence: UncLe John was a great man who always made people feel welcomed and calm. My heart is torn he passed for suddenly. I'm blessed and thankful to have ever met such a kind man. I hadn't saw or spoke with Uncle John in all long time, until this past November , I'm thankful I was able to see hi, a few family members and his wife Shelly. I'm am so saddened for his loss and all family especially Shelly and their children are in my prayers. May God ease the broken hearts and dimmed spirts of uncle Johns absence.
With much love and many prayers,

Condolence From: Jerry and Anne Smith
Condolence: Jerry and I were shocked and saddened to hear of John's passing. Please know that we are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Jerry has been recalling many fond and treasured memories from way back to their younger days growing up together in Addison, Class of 72, and still enjoyed catching up with him whenever they saw each other. We are sorry that we will not be able to attend his services as we are in Florida, but please know that we will be holding you close in our hearts and thinking of you in the coming days. Sincerely, Jerry and Anne Smith

Condolence: My prayers are with the stand family. John was a great guy. I only knew him for a few years while I worked in Coldwater, but he and his partner in crime, Mike, always went out of their way to help me. John and I had a long discussions about the Hudson-Addison rivalry from our high school days. I can't say enough good things about John. He was one-of-a-kind. God bless him!

Condolence: Dear Stanton Family,
My sincere and heartfelt sympathy to you all.
John Stanton was a remarkable guy who I have held in high regard since I first met him in the fall of 1970.
John wrestled for me his junior and senior years and was the consummate leader and the epitome of a hard working athlete.
I wrote to Mark Saturday morning that John was the nicest, funniest, and toughest guy all in one. He would do anything for you and make you laugh at the silliest things, and this I remember 45 years ago this week at regional wrestling at Madison. His lip gets split, he says taped I am going to state, your dad nods approval, so I tape and he goes to state! Of course, he goes after getting four stitches in his lip!
Just a class guy like all you kids! I am so sorry for your loss.
