How do I describe Carole? She was a second mom, a big sister, a co-worker, a confidant, and a wonderful friend. I know my life is so much better having known her. I also know that when the McCafferty’s moved across the street from the Lytle’s the width of Fremont street shrunk to one step. Carole was always there when I needed her. She was so giving, even letting me use her little Corvair. She taught me the ropes at the Credit Bureau, learning tact and discipline. She was there when life didn’t seem quite fair, giving me encouragement and strength. I loved her smile, her laugh and her love for life. There are so many times that she was there for me. I know that the world is a better place because of Carole McCafferty. I know that she will be missed by her family and everyone that knew her.
