Robert “Bob” Gerald Grigg, 73, of Bronson, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, February 6, 2017 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Pastor Terry Siler officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at Bronson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 12:00 noon, Monday, February 6, 2017 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
Bob was born on April 28, 1943 to George and Opal (Pemberton) Grigg in Detroit. He was a United States Army Veteran. Bob married Carrol Pace on May 10, 1969 in Southfield.
Bob was the plant manager at G & W Display Fixtures in Bronson for 19 years, retiring in 2006.
He was a former member of the Bronson American Legion Post. He enjoyed buying and selling items on E-Bay, his cats, yard work and fixing things around the house, but most of all he loved his grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years Carrol; his children, Mark Grigg of Bronson, Jody Grigg of Angola, Indiana and Kristy (Brad) Aleman of Bronson; his grandchildren, Airman First Class Neil (Erin) Grigg, Brad (Amber Diaz) Schieber, Bradley (Lindsey) Aleman Jr., Garrett Aleman, Angela (John) Porter, Brittany (Dakota Frohriep) Aleman, Destiny (Wyatt Vallance) Aleman, Bobbi (Andy Valdez) Grigg, Selena Aleman and Olivia Aleman; his 6 great grandchildren and his brother, Edward (Ramona) Grigg of Drummond Island. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Shannanne Kelly, his granddaughter Gabrielle Aleman, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
