Obituary for Timothy Ralph "Tim" Gleason Sr.

Timothy “Tim” Ralph Gleason Sr.,64, of Coldwater passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 4, 2017 at First Congregational Church of Bronson with Pastor Terry Siler officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the church prior to the memorial service.
Tim was born August 30, 1952 to Ralph H. and Mary (Coleman) Gleason in Coldwater. Tim had the distinction of being the 75th baby born at the Community Health Center of Branch County.
He married Cheryl Marks on June 30, 1995 in Angola, Indiana. Tim worked at Quality Springs Togo in Coldwater for 17 years retiring in 2015. He also worked for Profile Extrusion, United Technologies and Essex prior to Quality Springs.
Tim was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, woodworking, small engine repair and attending craft shows and antiquing with his wife Cheryl. He had fond memories and talked often of his childhood at Huyck Lake. Tim spent many summers camping at Jellystone in Fremont, Indiana with his grandkids.
Tim is survived by his wife of 21 years Cheryl of Coldwater; his children; Timothy R. Gleason Jr. of Burr Oak, Matthew Gleason of Coldwater, Josh (Brandy) Gleason of Coldwater; his step-children; Lori (Kevin) Stutzman of Flushing, Todd (Maria) Marks of Adrian, Jeremy (Amber) Marks of Bronson; his sisters; Pat Fredrick of Prescott, Arkansas, Trudy Porter of Prescott, Arkansas and Bonnie Woodman of Coldwater; his brother; Gary Gleason of Prescott, Arkansas; his 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild that is on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Carrie Gleason, his brothers, Tommy, David and Richard (Lucky) and his sister Sue.
