Barbara S. Anglin, 76, of Bronson, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
The funeral will be Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Lockwood Community Church in Coldwater with Pastor Shayne Looper officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 13, 2017 from 6-8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Barbara was born September 17, 1940 in Coldwater, MI to George & Gula (Shippy) Green. She married Vern Anglin on June 9, 1967 in Coldwater, he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Anglin earned both her Undergraduate and Master’s Degrees in Education from Western Michigan University. She taught elementary school for 37 years, primarily for Bronson Community Schools, retiring in 1997.
Barb was a member of Lockwood Community Church. She enjoyed collecting antiques, arts & crafts, traveling, gardening and home decor. She especially enjoyed entertaining her family & friends and everyone was always welcome.
Barbara is survived by her children Zach (Karolyn) Anglin of Coldwater, Shannon (Mark) Dorner of Spring Lake, and her grandchildren Dakota and Kassidy Dorner. In addition to her former husband, she was also preceded in death by her siblings Gene Widener, Georgia Gunning, Walter Green, Wendell Green, Marilyn Green, infant sister Marlene Green, Sally Montanbault and Paul Green
