Obituary for Larry "Hal" Ferguson

Larry “Hal” Ferguson, 74, of Coldwater, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at his home.
The funeral service will be Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 12 Noon at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Dave Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home.
Larry was born September 6, 1942 in Lansing, MI to Robert & Ethel (Marowelli) Ferguson. He served in the US Air Force from 1961 – 1965. Larry married Inez (Bates) Hall on June 28, 1969 in Angola, IN, she preceded him in death on December 8, 2010.
Mr. Ferguson owned and operated his own construction company “Quality Pole Buildings” for many years. He then worked for various companies spending the past 15 years working with Wil Mac.
Larry was an avid animal lover and a skilled craftsman, always keeping busy with a variety of projects. He most of all enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends.
Larry is survived by his children Rodney Hall, Rusty (Vicki) Hall, Randy (Debra) Hall all of Coldwater, his siblings Connie Smith of Arizona City, AZ, Penny (Dan) Bachman of Clio, Kenneth Ferguson of Leonidas, Doug (Brenda) Ferguson of Bronson, grandchildren Rod Jr., Kelli, Kristi, Kevin, Courtney, Megan, Stephanie, Erin, Kristen, Sara, Alison, many great and great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and special caregivers and his yellow labrador Daisy. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother Billy Joe Ferguson, sisters Nancy Zebolsky, Pam Emerick and Candy Tice.
