Obituary for Anne M. Fisher

Anne M. Harris Fisher, 46, of Coldwater, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Community Health Center of Branch County due to Lou Gehrig’s Disease, (ALS).
A private memorial service will be at a later date. The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Anne was born May 3, 1970 to Harold and Shirley (Huffman) Harris in Watervliet. Ann’s early years were spent in Watervliet and attending Grace Christian Academy through the eighth grade. Upon the death of her father in August 1985, (Anne’s parents both died in separate car accidents) Anne came to live with her aunt and uncle, Don and Peggy Mackenzie in Coldwater. Anne attended Coldwater High School, graduating from the Adult Education Program.
In her early years, Anne enjoyed riding on the back of her dad’s Goldwing motorcycle taking trips to the U.P. of Michigan or to Memphis, Tennessee to visit relatives. Anne also enjoyed camping with Don and Peggy Mackenzie and swimming.
Anne had been employed at the Lettica Company in Fremont, Indiana for 21 years as a quality control technician. She was forced into retirement four years ago due to the diagnosis of ALS.
Anne is survived by her three children; Maranda Harris, Marcus Fisher and Mason Fisher all of Coldwater; her 3 grandchildren; her brothers, Robert Kennedy of Bonnerdale, Arkansas, Don (Joan) Harris of Silver City and her sister Karen (Daniel) Harris Fast of Hartford. She is also survived by a countless number of cousins. Anne was preceded in death by her parents and a half- sister Roxanne Kennedy.
This past year she lived with her primary caregivers, son Marc and his girlfriend Andrea. These past four years Anne enjoyed participating on Facebook.
