Condolences

Condolence From: Cindy Mitcham
Condolence: So sorry to hear about "Deanie". That's what my family called him. We were relatives in that our grandmother was Dorthea Jowers, sister to Bernadine Shepard, his adoptive mother. We sorta grew up with him. My brother and I went to Ole Miss and would always text him before the Arkansas-Ole Miss game. Last year, we sent our annual text and did not get a response. We tried to call, but never got an answer. We had no idea he had passed away. He was a caring, genuine guy. When our sister passed, Deanie and Vera came to the funeral. We then ran into him in Newport, Arkansas. He was there for a reunion. We shared several phone calls after that. So glad we reconnected with him. So sad we won't see and talk to him anymore. We truly loved him.

Condolence From: Weezy
Condolence: My dearest Dean-o, my rock, my dad, my confidant, my soft pillow to fall on when the times were rough.I will miss you so! Thank you for being in my life, for loving my kids, for letting me be your private nurse, and for trusting me to take care of mom. I am a little bit jealous that you got to hug and kiss Jilly before I did, but what a wonderful reunion I know that was! You are free to fly now, free to meet your family in Heaven, free to play pranks from the other side. I hope that the celebration of life we have planned for you will make you proud. Razorback/Buckeye games will never be the same. And thank you God, for taking this precious wonderful man Home, and caring for him until we get there too. He is so loved.
Until we meet again...
Your daughter, Weezy
