Barney B. Brauker, 69, of Tekonsha, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Laurels of Coldwater.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Barney was born November 3, 1946 in Coldwater, MI to Marlin & Mary (Kindig) Brauker. He served in the US Army and was veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Brauker worked for many years at the Federal Center in Battle Creek. He belonged to the Vietnam Veterans Association of Calhoun Co., the American Legion, Lansing Post and the Branch County Conservation Club. Barney enjoyed firearms and taught Hunters Safety with 4-H for many years.
Barney is survived by his daughter Kersten Cook of Hillsdale, his mother Mary Brauker-Bogi of Dundee, his brother Burl (Shirley) Brauker of Union City, Megan (Larry) McConn of Bronson, nieces and nephews Becky Walters, Dusty Coats, Jason Smith and Erin Mosher. He was preceded in death by his father, Marlin R. Brauker and his step-father Ernie Bogi.
