Shirley Jean Licht, 71, of Coldwater, passed away on October 13, 2016 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 17, 2016 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Fr. Paul Redmond officiating. Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Shirley was born on June 13, 1945 to Donald J. Lothamer and Ona G. (Boone) Shoemaker in Marshall. She graduated from Marshall High School. Shirley married Robert J. Licht on December 24, 1965 in Quincy.
She had worked at many and various types of jobs throughout the Coldwater community but she especially loved being a homemaker to her family. Shirley enjoyed children, cooking, making her salads, crossword and other puzzles and playing cards. She adored her grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 50 years Robert of Coldwater, her children; Scott Licht of Coldwater, Jeff (Laura) Licht of Hebron, Indiana, Brian Licht of Coldwater and Lisa (Nick) Polyviou of Lake Worth, Florida; her grandchildren, Beth (Zach) Dickerson, Emma Hephner, Justin King, Jordan King, Nicholas Polyviou, Trent Licht, Abigail Licht, Amelia Polyviou and Jason Licht; her 4 great grandchildren; her siblings, Betty Bean of Quincy, Theresa Benjamin of Allen, Floyd Lothamer of Quincy and Linda (Larry) Clark of Coldwater. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Paul, Robert, Edward, Alfred, David, Donald and James Lothamer and her sister Mary Ann Flynn.
