Tina's passing is a huge loss for everyone who knew her, especially those of us who had a personal relationship. She was a surrogate mother, having been my babysitter for most of my life (from the age of 6 weeks.) We maintained a relationship even though we were separated by quite a distance (I now live in Montana.) I am very grateful for all the experiences she gave me... picking cherries, making Halloween costumes, teaching me to bake, gardening, etc. Even though I am too far away to attend the funeral, I am so glad I had time with her this last summer when I went back for a visit. I also appreciate that she called me to say good-bye before she passed away. She was a great lady and made a huge difference in my life!
