Obituary for Florentine "Tina" M. Keeslar

Florentine “Tina” Keeslar, 89, of Bronson, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Maple Lawn in Coldwater.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 23, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson with Rev. Fr. Richard Fritz officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 4-8:00 PM, with the Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM, at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
Florentine was born April 15, 1927 in Matteson Twp., MI to Boleslaus (Fred) & Magdalene (Czajkowski) Kibiloski. She married Lloyd A. Keeslar on August 9, 1947 in Bronson, he preceded her in death on December 27, 1983.
Tina worked for the Bronson Journal for 18 years, retiring in 1996. She also served as Bronson Township Clerk for 32 years. Mrs. Keelsar was a member of St. Mary’s Church where she was active in the Rosary Society and belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary. Tina enjoyed gardening, reading, hunting, fishing, mushrooming and playing Bingo. She especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren.
Tina is survived by her children Frederick (Susan) Keeslar of Cedar, Rose (Wiebren) Hoekstra of Schoolcraft, her sister-in-law Delphine Kibiloski of Bronson, grandchildren Matthew Keeslar, Nathan Keeslar, Frederick James Keeslar, Jonathan Hoekstra, Samantha Hoekstra, Aaron Hoekstra, Chad Hoekstra and great grandchildren Leo, Elsa and Holden Keeslar. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters.
