Obituary for Scott C. Zinn

Scott C.  Zinn
Scott C. Zinn, 59 of Coldwater passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at his home while surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer.

In following Scott’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of Scott’s life at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 17th, 2016 at Omar’s Bar in Coldwater. There will also be a fundraiser at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Moose Lodge in Coldwater. The family was cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.

Scott was born August 17, 1956 to Corwin and Virginia (Spencer) Zinn in Coldwater. He graduated from Coldwater High School. Scott worked as a bartender for many years at both Lamplighter and Omar’s. Most recently, he was employed at Bill’s Market. On July 1, 1995 he married Linda McLatcher in Coldwater.

Scott enjoyed listening to jazz & bluegrass music, playing the guitar, and being on his computer. He liked animals, especially his dogs. He was a foster parent for many years, raising four foster children. His true joy in life was spending time family, especially his grandchildren. Scott will be remembered as being an outgoing, friendly, big hearted man. He will be missed by many.

Mr. Zinn is survived by his wife of almost 21 years, Linda Zinn of Coldwater; his son Shane Pamp of Mt. Pleasant; his step-children Synda Gaglio of Texas, Lynda Gaglio of Indianapolis, Angela Gaglio of Allen, Rainia Crabill of Coldwater, and Aleysha (Jesse) Harper of Indiana; his siblings Diane Wanke, Mark (Madeline) Zinn, and Steven Zinn all of Coldwater; his grandchildren Skyler, Storm, Savannah, Hunter, Wyllow, Rhys, and Isaac; several nieces & nephews; his great nephews Sequoia and Banyan; many good friends and his dog “Della”. He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew Matthew Wanke.
