Catherine Frances Christian, 78 of Bronson passed away unexpectedly while at her home on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.

In following Catherine’s wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be interred at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Catherine was born May 5, 1938 to Lyle and Grace (Barth) Mahaney in St. Johns, Michigan. Catherine married Paul Christian, who preceded her in death on January 3, 1979. After Paul’s death, she worked at One Hour Martinizing in Taylor for 12 years. Catherine enjoyed staying home and being close to her family. She was a fan of the University of Michigan football team.

Mrs. Christian is survived by her children Colleen (Eric) Christian-Miller of Farmington Hills and Eric Christian of Bronson; her brother Michael (Suzie) Mahaney of Southgate; her sister Patricia Swick of Southgate; several nieces & nephews; and her close friend Gina Johnson.
