Obituary for Kamal Cariuty Jr.

Kamal Cariuty, Jr., 54, of Coldwater, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 at his home.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Coldwater with Pastor Aaron Chittick officiating. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, beginning at 9:00 AM. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Kamal was born November 12, 1961 in Sidney, OH to Kamal and Paula (Misch) Cariuty, Sr. He attended Grand Valley State University and had worked at Lakeland Correctional Facility since 1987, where he was currently employed.
Kamal enjoyed playing golf and loved to watch sports. He was an avid Oakland Raiders fan and enjoyed fantasy football, serving as the commissioner of his league.
Kamal is survived by his children Tarynn Cariuty of Kalamazoo, Jordann Cariuty of Battle Creek, Ayrtonn Cariuty of Avondale, AZ, his mother Paula Cariuty of Lapeer, his brothers and sister Tony (Christine) Cariuty of Attica, Karime Masson of Angola, IN, Edward (Kelly) Cariuty of Escanaba, his many beloved nieces and nephews, and former wife Julie (Fox) Cariuty of Battle Creek. He was preceded in death by his father in 2005.
