Obituary for Eva F. Firestone

Eva Firestone, 99, of Coldwater, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Quincy Cottage.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church with Most Rev. Mark Vyverman officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, beginning at 9:30 AM at St. Charles Church. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Eva was born October 20, 1916 in Bono, Ohio to Clarence and Zella (Smith) Tank. She married Walter Ambrose and then Lyle Firestone, they both preceded her in death.
Eva was a nurse aide for 25 years at the Coldwater State Home, retiring in the late 1970’s. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church and a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Eva enjoyed reading and dancing. She was a people person who loved to socialize and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Eva is survived by her children Denny (Debbie) Ambrose of Coldwater, Donna (Louie) Csokasy of Cassopolis, her sister Rachael Cutch er of Homer, her grandchildren Leslie Csokasy, Kellie (Keith) Davis, Valerie (Joe) Dunn, Dawn (Dave) Hollen, Kristopher (Kate) Ambrose, great grandchildren Casey Davis, Sidney & Allison Dunn, Kelsey & Megan Hollen, Noah & Chase Ambrose. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her brother Floyd Tank.
Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of Branch County or St. Charles Church.
