Howard Earl "Howie"  Foote Jr.
Howard “Howie” Earl Foote Jr., of Coldwater, formerly of Birmingham passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Laurels of Coldwater.
A graveside memorial service with military honors will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 8, 2016 at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
Howard was born on February 9, 1937 to Howard Earl Sr. and Susan (Worthington) Foote in Birmingham, Michigan. After graduating from Birmingham High School, Howard enlisted in the United States Marine Corp serving from June 12, 1958 until June 11, 1964 attaining the rank of Corporal. His marriage to Jeanette Foote ended in divorce and she preceded him in death in February 2015.
Howie worked for Consumers Power Company-Royal Oak, Michigan service center as an underground pipeline worker for 30 years.
He was a member of the Royal Oak American Legion. He loved watching sports and going to baseball games. Howie was a very spirited person with a good sense of humor.
Howard is survived by his son; James (Rhonda) Foote of Warren; his grandsons, Owen and Jackson Foote; his brother, Robert Foote of Coldwater and his sister; Carol (Bob) Lowmaster of Chicago, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dave Foote.
